Dr. Sharifa Zahan Mitu is one of the most promising & dedicated ophthalmologist in recent era of Ophthalmology in Bangladesh. She is now working as a consultant.

(Phaco Surgeon and Glaucoma Specialist) in Bangladesh Eye Hospital and Institute, Dhanmondi and Bangladesh Eye Care Hoapital, Zigatola, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

She was involved in a research work as Co Supervisor in Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital.

Interests:

She feels responsibility towards her community hence sharing her expertise to train the next generation of Cataract surgeon and Glaucoma Specialist.

Works as a trainer of Phacoemulsification Surgery Training program in Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital, a non-profitable sister concern of Bangladesh Eye Hospital.
One of the Supervisor of Glaucoma Fellowship.

Besides her academic interest she has a passion for travelling, Photography and reading.
